A Nosy around Notting Hill

Updated: Mar 27

After my morning being a massive tourist it was time for lunch. Ellie was working in Notting Hill for the day so I headed in that direction to meet her and tick off another spot on my list.

Farm Girl is just off Portobello Road, hidden behind this white door. We luckily only had a 2 minute wait for a table which was great as we were pretty hungry. If you do decide to pop in here expect a bit of a wait cause I hear its always busy and they don’t take bookings.

After eyeing up everyone else’s order we both decided that the Pancakes were the way to go! yeah I know they’re supposed to be for breakfast but hey when on holiday you can eat what you want when you want!…right?!

Of course I had to wash it down with a cappucino… I seriously think I have a caffeine problem, it’s something I’ll never give up though so I just have to embrace it.

With something else ticked off my list, Ellie had to head back to work and I continued my wanders around Notting Hill. Although I’ve been there before I had never strayed far from Portobello Road so It was time to change that.

After a stroll down the famous street I paused breifly at Wild at heart, a little gutted I couldn’t take a nice bouquet of flowers home, I just had to appreciate what was there before heading off fantasy house hunting.

It was pretty successful at showing me all the wonderful houses I will never be able to afford but hey a girl can dream right?!

There was one more thing I wanted to do in Notting Hill and that was make the trip to Biscuiteers, purely for the shop front, I mean how cute is it?!

With something else ticket off the list I picked up some biscuits to take home to have with nice cup of tea after dinner!
