Grab a coffee

Updated: Mar 27

Or a tea or even a hot chocolate if you would prefer and lets have a catch up.

You will have noticed things have been rather quiet around her the last few weeks; life has just been super busy, but I’m back, and have a few new posts lined up for you. I thought we’d have quick catch up over a coffee to let you know what’s been going on lately.

Let’s get the horrid one out the way first….my Grandad passed away a couple of weeks ago and although we weren’t all that close I have some amazing memories of him from when I was little so it was still hard to say goodbye. Anyway as you may know its not fun so lets move on shall we as there has also been a lot of good over the last few weeks.

If you saw this post, you’ll know I’ve been house hunting, and that has been pretty time consuming. Well a quick update on that; I’ve had an offer accepted! So that free time I was using for house hunting is now being taken up with phone calls to the bank in an attempt to sort out a mortgage and emails back and forth to the solicitor to make sure all the paperwork is in order. I actually can’t wait to have those keys in my hand; the keys to my very own place! Still not loving the time consuming process but it’ll be oh so worth it.

Since I will be out of my parents house this time next week any free time I have left is mostly spent packing/de-cluttering and organising. This really isn’t going so well though, I have way too much stuff, anyone got any handy moving tips?

As you can imagine none of this really leaves much time for a social life, in fact I’ve definitely been guilty of skipping out on the packing for a date or a few drinks. But hey what can I do, I need some time to actually enjoy myself, quality time with friends is so important and also the dating…well lets just say I’ve finally found a good one!

I’m a firm believer in making time for the things you really want, so while I may be stretching myself pretty thin at the moment It will all be worth it in the long run. Now that the worst is over and I have some content planned for this little blog, everything should start to fall back into place. I’m going to try post once a week for the next little while as I get moved into my new flat and try to get into some sort of routine.

It’s good to be back and I can’t wait for the next exciting chapter!
